Happy April! Spring marks a time of awakening and rejuvenation. We seem to come back alive with renewed energy during this time of year.

This spring, I challenge you to channel this energy into creating a new relationship with self.

Doing vs. Being

As many of us enter the new year with renewed determination to create healthier habits, it seems timely that we focus on Manifesting through Actions. This week, we examine our actions toward ourselves.

That is, are the things I’m doing benefiting me in a healthy way? 

It’s important that we make time for ourselves to do the things that are good for us or that we enjoy. But it’s equally as essential that these be things that are genuinely good for us.

Ask yourself if the true outcome of the action is one that you desire.

Or are you doing things that feel good in the moment, but elicit guilt, shame, or harm in the long run? If so, there are many ways you can shift your habits (and I’ll be hosting an e-course on how starting on January 22!)

In our efficiency driven society, our focus seems to be on doing rather than being.

But what I’ve found is that simply being is just as important and necessary for our souls. Checking in with ourselves and how we feel, differentiating between what we’re proud of and what we’d like to change about ourselves, taking in the sunset, sitting and observing your breath, all of these methods are ways of reconnecting to our true being and help bring you back to the present moment.

What are things you can do this week that are more about being rather than doing?

It’s a new concept for a lot of us, but one that I find is highly valuable.

Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life

We welcome November with a new series on our thought life!

Everything is energy.

And so the thoughts we think (even subconsciously!) carry with them a certain vibration. As such, it’s important that we examine our thoughts from time to time to make sure they’re in alignment with our intentions for our life.

Sometimes our thought patterns are rooted in a misperception.

If we don’t take the time to examine (and ultimately re-evaluate) them, then our lives can be taken in directions we weren’t necessarily intending. So try to get clear on what you’re telling yourself.

What is it that you’re thinking? Why?

If you can reclaim your thoughts, you can reclaim your life! This week’s activity, “Examining What’s Consuming Your Thoughts” will help with that. Watch the video for directions and download the worksheet here.
